Scientific Name: Camellia sinensis, Thea sinensis (Theaceae)





Oolong Tea is an evergreen shrub clipped to 5 ft (1.5 m) in cultivation, with leathery, dark green leaves and fragrant white flowers, cultivated principally in India, Sri-lanka, Kenya and China.

Green Tea is recognized as being a much healthier drink than the other tea (black, red, oolong, white).

A beverage prepared with leaves that have undergone varying degrees of fermentation corresponding to colour differences:

Black Tea is fully fermented,
Red Tea is partially fermented,
Oolong Tea is lightly fermented,
