Foods & Bones

Cancer Prevention

Cancer & Tumor Prevention

Pesto Vitamin K content appears to significantly lower the risk for both Liver and Prostate Cancer.

Pesto contain Vitamin E which prevents cell damage caused by free radicals, protects the Skin from ultraviolet rays and significantly reduces the risk of Prostate Cancer.

Foods & Cancer

Cardiovascular System

Cardiovascular System

Pesto contain Monounsaturated Fats which lower the risk of heart disease and Stroke, by lowering bad (LDL) Cholesterol levels, triglycerides (associated with heart disease and Fight inflammation), blood pressure, while increasing good (HDL) Cholesterol levels, and prevent abnormal heart rhythms and atherosclerosis (hardening and narrowing of The Arteries).

Vitamin K supports cardiovascular health by preventing serious health problems such as atherosclerosis (Calcium and Lipid plaques occurring within artery walls) and Stroke.

Pesto Vitamin E content sustains the activity of the Cardiovascular System and also supports cardiovascular health by preventing blood platelets (thrombocytes) from aggregating and thus prevents blood clots.

Vitamin E reduces platelet stickiness, which helps prevent blood clots and heart attack.

Foods & Cardiovascular System

Circulatory System

Circulatory System

Pesto Vitamin K content is essential for the proper coagulation of blood and prevention of bleeding (blood loss during the process of Wound healing) by means of prothrombin (a blood coagulation factor).

Energy

Energy

Pesto contain Vitamin B2 which plays a key role in the production of Energy (Energy Metabolism) by enabling the body to make better use of nutrients (such as fats, Proteins and Carbohydrates).

Immune System

Immune System

Vitamin K protects against oxidative Stress (anti-oxidant properties).

• It would appear that Phylloquinone and Menaquinone can protect cells from oxidative Stress.

• It manages to significantly reduce inflammation (potent Anti-Inflammatory), by lowering interleukin-6 levels.

Vitamin E Is a fat-soluble vitamin that can boasts powerful anti-oxidant properties, crucial for cell membrane health. It serves as an anti-oxidant involved in immune function, cell signaling, regulation of gene expression, various metabolic processes, and inhibits platelet aggregation.

• Anti-oxidants such as Vitamin E, Vitamin C or Manganese counteract oxidation damage and help maintain healthy cells, tissues and organs.

Vitamin A is an Infection resistance and Immune System boosting vitamin which can significantly protect against some of the immune-depressing effects of radiation and Cancer chemotherapy.

Vitamin B2 sustains the functions performed by all the other B-group Vitamins.

Infections

Infections

Vitamin A reinforces our body’s First line of defense, increases resistance to Infection and Fights free radicals. It helps create a barrier against bacteria and viruses by reinforcing our body’s First line of defense: mucous membranes (our Eyes, nose, throat, lungs and Digestive System are lined with mucous membranes).

Metabolism

Metabolism

Vitamin K stimulates the absorption of Calcium from both food sources and supplements, thus contributing to strong, healthy Bones. It is the prerequisite for strong, healthy Bones and it prevents osteoclasts from re-absorbing Bone tissue and depleting our Bones of crucial Minerals.

Musculoskeletal System

Musculoskeletal System

Vitamin E keeps the Foods & Musculoskeletal System healthy by protecting the myelin Sheath (a Nervous System and a layer surrounding the axon [the tail] of a neuron [nerve cell]).

Vitamin B2 is also essential for normal growth, cellular repair and quick Wound healing.

Vitamin A is vital for Skin cell renewal, healthy epithelial tissues and mucous membranes.

• It helps keep Skin Healthy by protecting it against Infections, working together to improve rough Skin and maintaining the integrity of epithelial cells, which occur in the Eye, Respiratory tract, Genitourinary Tract, and intestinal tract.

Vitamin B2 promotes beautiful Skin (contributes to Skin Health), strong nails and good vision.

• It helps maintain Skin Health and can also help treat dermatitis or Eczema.
