Anti-aging

Anti-aging

Carp anti-oxidants enhance the production of healthy cells and slow down the signs/process of aging (blemishes, age spots, wrinkles caused by the Skin losing its elasticity).

• Its Proteins positive biological properties (such as Anti-Inflammatory and anti-oxidants) inhibits Protein oxidation.

Protein oxidation can interfere with the calpain system by inhibiting m-calpain activity, therefore causing aging and also affects juiciness by prompting changes to myofibril diameters and Protein cross-linkage connections.

Carp contain high amount of Omega-3 Fatty Acids and a good balance of omega-6 and Omega-3, thus preventing the buildup of plaque and reducing the chances of atherosclerosis, High Blood Pressure, Stroke or heart attack.

Vitamin B1 and Vitamin B3 (Niacin) support cardiovascular health by being able to increase HDL (good) Cholesterol levels and lower LDL (bad) Cholesterol levels.

Vitamin B5 maintains a normal Sodium-Potassium ratio.

Carp Choline participates as a methyl donor in the conversion of homocysteine to Methionine and forms betaine (a metabolite in the body) which helps in lowering levels of homocysteine (an Amino Acids responsible for many cardiovascular diseases and a risk factor for heart disease), thus may help repair damaged cell membranes in Stroke sufferers, potentially contributing to better recovery following Stroke and a lower degree of disability.

Magnesium maintains a good regular heart rhythm, preventing the occasional extra-systoles (skipped heart beats or Palpitations) as a result of excessive heat or Stress.

• It helps lower High Blood Pressure, prevent heart attacks and is necessary for regulating the electrical activity of The Heart.

Potassium capacity to control electrical impulses sent to muscles and its Fluid-balancing properties, has a direct beneficial effect on blood pressure (in both Hypertensive and non-Hypertensive patients), such as balancing/lowering Sodium levels.
